Hi, everybody. Some of you know me, but for those who don't, I'm Marti and I'm bringing in Deanna Troi from that little franchise known as Star Trek. I'm bringing her in from the First Contact movie, right after the scene where she passes out drunk because of her first encounter with tequila. Deanna is half-Betazoid, which means she is able to sense people's emotions and motivations. Unlike a full Betazoid, however, she is unable to read minds or communicate telepathically (except with other Betazoids), but if your character has special circumstances that should make it impossible for someone with empathic powers to read them, I have a permissions post on her profile.

I'm completely canon-blind so I expect to mess up here and there. Sorry about that in advance and you're free to correct any mistakes I make. Just PM me or add me on plurk at martienne and I'll fix it right away.

I'm back off hiatus! And I'm going right back on hiatus Tuesday night on account of SDCC. The days leading up to then are going to be slow tag-wise on my end, given I'm still unpacking from my move and have a good amount of con prep to do. July seems to be my eaten-by-RL month; as always, poke me if you need anything and I shall do my best to get to it. With any luck I'll be back into the swing of things sometime after SDCC.
