Intro post!

Hello there, everyone! I'm Corri, and I'm really excited to be here. It's all Kia's fault, really... ever since we had a grand ol' time talking about how my character and Rarity would interact on the ride home from Comic Con... It just took me a while to get my ducks in order and fill out the application.

I'll be playing Jaime Lannister from the book series A Song of Ice and Fire and the TV show adapted from the novels, Game of Thrones. (In all of the important ways, Jaime is pretty much the same in book canon and show canon, but in the small ways that he diverges, I tend to stick closer to book canon.) I've only read to the end of A Feast for Crows, the fourth book in the series, so that's the point in canon I'll be sourcing Jaime from.

So... I just saw Chell's drawing (love it!) and can I ask you something? Do most characters know what her drawings mean? I'm guessing that the stuff in brackets is for other players' benefit, but that IC people have to learn to interpret them? (Sorry... I'm massively out of practice with this rp stuff and am probably going to be bugging everyone I play with by asking "HOW is this supposed to work????")

Hah, Chell hasn't had too much trouble with people figuring out her drawings yet, but by all means feel free to have Jaime not understand what she's trying to say! She's tough to communicate with in general, so just go with whatever you think Jaime would make of it.

I'm Megan and I'm kind of excited to have you here. Jaime is one of those characters that has been growing on me considerably as I reread the books.

Anyways, I play North Dakota and Theta from Red vs Blue and Roxas from Kingdom Hearts and will undoubtedly through one of them at you. I look forward to playing with you.

I just hope I can do him justice! He had to grow on my as well, but it was my second time through the first season of the show that did it for me.

When it comes to the characters of this series, I have a sliding scale of do I like them or want to punch them in the face. I'm still trying to figure out where Jaime lies on it exactly but he's up there in the like side.

(Well, the easiest way to describe North is that he's a space marine with an AI implanted in him, and manages to be rather chill and a decent guy compared to a number of his coworkers. The series itself is basically a bunch of guys standing around talking, until they added plot, which didn't change a whole lot because there was still a lot of standing around and talking. North is from the plot portion.)

I'm looking forward to Jaime and Tony getting to know each other! I have watched all of the new Marvel movies, but I've never read any comics.

It's possible they could be excellent friend-things if Jaime is willing to overlook the whole Stark thing. XD and if he ignores everything Wash has to say about him, because Wash is a dick.

I pulled Tony from directly following the Malibu attack in IM3 (because I'm evil or something) so he's super twitchy, but, it's a lot of fun. XD I've tried to keep from letting the comics bleed in too much, so no knowledge of them is strictly necessary. XD

Though in the prelude comic to the upcoming Thor movie, it is revealed that Tony definitely has a knowledge of Game of Thrones, I promise to avoid this entirely (because I'm definitely not a fan of 4th-walling). ♥
